An Interview with Jennifer Wu

Jennifer Wu

Jennifer is a Canadian visual development artist and character designer. She loves creating imaginative worlds and capturing everyday moments in her paintings.

3dtotal interviewer Neddy had a fascinating conversation with up-and-coming visual development artist Jennifer Wu on how she convinced her parents to give her one shot at getting into the renowned Sheridan art school and the competitive portfolio process (spoiler: one shot was all she needed!) Jennifer also reveals how she's inspired by people she knows when creating her characters, which you'll also find out in Character Design Quarterly issue 32, where she shows a behind-the-scenes of her thesis film "Mission Popo"!
