3dtotal Anatomy: Adaptable male figure

The quality is amazing and the delivery was really fast too

This is a very detailed and high-quality sculpture l that I have found endlessly useful not just for anatomy, but also for things like lighting and foreshortening. The number of options you get with all the interchangeable parts is excellent. Its so much more intuitive to grab this and examine, say, an arm from an angle of your choosing than it is to open an anatomy book and decipher a 2d drawing of an arms musculature.

Confirming what was stated in the first review; the teres major inserts under the deltoid not where it should, HOWEVER this is extremely minor. if you are using the model for drawing, it is very easy to correct this minor error in sketches. The model its self is fantastically detailed and strong as well. the figure has veins and such that look fragile but are actually really resistant. excellent figure. My only request to 3dtotal is to offer additional attachments without skin. same as the current attachable arms but without the skin, exposing the muscles and such as it would be great to see how the forearm muscles twist with different hand poses. I would happily pay for this addition if it was available. Furthermore I would love a model with skinless bent legs. Regardless the model is fantastic and I can see this taking my sketching to the next level.

It is supposed to travel between the Tricep long head and Coracobrachialis, inserting into the armpit along with Latissimus dorsi.

I won't repeat what I and others have already said about the impressive sculpting of other 3DTotal anatomy figures I've previously purchased, but it all certainly applies to this Adaptable Male Figure as well. Where this figure really shines is with the quality of the swappable parts joins. I've seen it done well previously on collectible figures via clever strategic placement of joins in clothing folds and accessories. I've also seen it done poorly where they are out in the open and visible; I'm assuming there is a variable shrinkage issue during drying (depending on mass of resin ) that has to be accounted for. On this adaptable Male Figure, all the joins are out in the open (for obvious reasons), and I can't say enough about the minimized and precise quality of the joins. I can't imagine that it's possible to do this any better than it's been done on this product. I also like the slightly expanded size of this item. I'm very happy with my purchase.
