3D Total Publishing truly has an impressive book collection. I didn't know one could get love bombed by books but it really happened to me, cross my heart and hope to die!

Their collections have outstanding quality, not only in reference to content, layout and design but also in the physical quality of the books themselves.

I find their content to be spot on and relevant to art today, as a multi layered medium that ties together hands on craftsmanship with the complexity of high level digital artistry. The books are rich in the “know how” and give a pallet of styles from a collection of professional artists.

I was surprised by the level of detail around their products, many books included a complimentary high quality print of the artist work, and some books were autographed by the artist themselves. What a treat!

Their customer service is impeccable and personal. I was really aware that there is a human on the other side, funny how the absence of AI can make a human feel valued.

I love the different steps in every sketch, the huge amount of animals, objects, plants, it's amazing to browse through all the sketches and try to draw them in your own way. If you're looking for ways to improve your sketching of all sorts of everyday-things in general, this book helps you.

Having recently (and belatedly) decided that I'd quite like to learn to sketch, coming across this book was exactly what I needed. The introduction alone has helped me progress a lot, and I keep coming back to it. The bulk of the book, the hundreds of four-step projects, have also been tremendously helpful in providing direction and inspiration for my practice. It also needs to be mentioned that the book itself, as a physical object, is beautiful. I love having it on the shelf. Although since it's so useful it doesn't spend much time there.

its an amazing book full of inspiration. i find a lot of inspiration in there, and when i need something random for a picture like a person or a car animal etc i find it exactly in the book. very great

The sketch encyclopedia is, in a way, exactly what it name conveys: a large book full of sketches. The beauty, though is, that it starts with a recap of sketching basics, and then provides various simple motifs that can be used to actually practice sketching. My only gripe with this book is that the introductory chapter seems somewhat geared towards beginners, while the rest of the book requires some sketching skill already. However, if you want a book that encourages you to sketch more, this is still a solid choice.
