The male écorché reference figure is a neutrally posed, athletic build male standing at 11-inches tall. The size and low price tag make this model a perfect desktop reference, while also maintaining all the detail you'll need.

The figure has been sculpted for 3dtotal by Dan Crossland, printed using a top quality 3D printer by Ownage, and then cast in grey resin to make the variation in the surfaces and directional flow of the muscles easy to see and understand.

The figure was part of a successful Kickstarter campaign in December 2014, raising £21,053 to ensure that 3dtotal could continue to produce high-quality, low-cost reference figures for your drawing and sculpting needs.

I just got the male ecorche a week ago. I am wowed by the detail. As a professional artist I have studied anatomy from books for 50 years and having a 3-d is way nicer. One good statue is better than a whole book. I can hold it in my hand and turn it whatever way I want and get whatever angle I choose. I also like that it is tough plastic and can fall on the floor and not break. At first I thought 11" would be too small, but it is perfect for holding and rotating while I draw. Much bigger would present a problem. Very very impressed. Just wish I had had one of these 50 years ago.

nice figure

Nice figure of that full ecorche male. Hard to choose which one to buy because all seem interesting. I prefered as a physician to have a real anatomical statue (than skin surface, half or planar). It's quite nice on my desk and give me quick memory feedback for realistic anatomy while drawing or sculpting.A little expensive so not available for young artists who begin in business.

Great figure

This is the figure I searched for a couple of years. The details are really impressing and the size of the whole product is perfect. Also the transport to Austria was very fast and uncomplicated.Thumbs up ;)
