Whether you use pencil and paper, paintbrushes, clay, or any form of digital art software, our figures will be invaluable if you want to understand the form and structure of human anatomy. Our first figure is a neutrally posed, athletic build male standing at 11 inches tall. This size and low price tag makes this model a perfect desktop reference, while also maintaining all the detail you'll need.
The first in a collection of affordable anatomy figures for artists of all genres has arrived.
The figure has been sculpted for 3dtotal by Federico Scarbini and Dan Crossland, printed using a top quality 3D printer by Ownage, and then cast in grey resin to make the variation in the surfaces and directional flow of the muscles easy to see and understand. One half of the model shows full skin, while the other is a clear and detailed dissection revealing muscle structure.
3dtotal launched this figure as a Kickstarter project in March 2013, which finished with an incredible 346 backers and £24,662 pledged of the initial £1,500 goal. Since then we have expanded our range to include a number of other male and female reference figures, all now available in the 3dtotal shop.

"The figure serves its purpose; it's so much easier to understand the shapes and flow of the muscle structure" - read the full review by Daniel Rath
