“This book enables you to understand the construction of the human body with its easy-to-follow and highly visual features. The coverage is comprehensive, from head to toe. One unique feature is the section on different types of human physique. This makes the book indispensable as you don’t have to second-guess the look of a muscle when stretched or moving into different positions. Anyone who wants to model or sculpt will find the book helpful, as it establishes the basic foundation upon which to build your knowledge of anatomy.”
Vichar.B.N

“Anatomy is easily the most important skill a character artist can invest in. It takes time and dedication and often a lot of research. It’s always a wonderful thing to be able to learn from experienced artists, who are willing to share years of hard work in a simple and approachable way. This book brings those teachers into your home and helps you start building your own knowledge base that will guide you on your path to becoming a better artist.”
Magdalena Dadela
Character modeler

“All artists need a deep understanding of the beautiful intricacies of the human anatomy in order to create strong characters that are both believable and aesthetically pleasing. This book takes you on a journey of learning and gives you an excellent insight into the anatomy and movement of the human body, with beautiful drawings, 3D illustrations, model breakdowns and tips.”
Andrei Critea

“Understanding of the anatomy is essential for creating life-like digital doubles; it is also one of the most complex mechanisms to grasp. Having a good anatomy reference is really the only way for us to interpret what is happening within the body. This book simplifies the tangled ideas of what we imagine the anatomy is to laying out the facts for us to understand.”
Ian Spriggs
3D character artist

An Excellent Reference

This was recommended to me in some feedback for my work, and with good reason. Now it lives on the desk next to me, and I refer to it almost every time I sculpt. It's easy to follow, contains a ton of useful info along with the reference images, and even covers topology. Definitely created an improvement in my work.
