Following on from the success of the first five volumes in the Digital Painting Techniques series, this latest volume’s artists reveal the development of character moods, how to create fantasy battles and environments, how to design sci-fi worlds, as well as a look at the fundamental aspects of lighting and atmosphere and the techniques used in speed painting. It’s another great addition to any artist’s shelf.

A must for all concept artists!

This book is a must for anybody interested in the world of digital painting. It covers a vast amount of styles and techniques. Each section (And again, there are many) is broken up into clear and concise sections. They are all easy to follow, useful and informative. I particularly like the fact that this book actively encourages experimentation, as quoted in the book Try everything, the ideas that are authentic to you will stick.

Nice source of inspiration

I've bought all the serie of 'Digital Painting Techniques' and this volume is like the others a really useful resource to understand and construct our workflow to produce quality work. But it also contains nice tips and tricks to go deeper and deeper in the technique.
