About the author
Kan Muftic was born in 1976 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he attended the Academy of Fine Arts from 1991–1992. In April 1992, he left Sarajevo due to violent political conflict in his country. During his time as a refugee, he helped his father with anti-war propaganda, creating illustrations and posters. After moving to Zurich, Switzerland, Kan attended the F F School for Art and Media Design, graduating in painting. Kan has now worked on film, television, and games projects for the past decade, for companies including the Moving Picture Company, Rocksteady Studios, and Axis. His credits include Jungle Book (2018), Godzilla, Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy, the Batman: Arkham series, and many more. He is currently Animation Director for an upcoming Netflix show.
