A great source of inspiration

This book is a wealth of information on sketching, it is beautifully illustrated and gives lots of tips and tricks.

Handy book - great gift!

I picked this book out for my little brother who needed a little push in order to get his ideas out of his brain and onto paper. This little book offers fun tips, tricks and advice from artists with different backgrounds on how to sketch daily and effectively with different media. I have also been inspired to take my sketchbook with me wherever I go. Would definitely recommend.

I really liked this book for being a lose guideline on how to start and pursue a sketchbook. It is full of ideas and tips that really motivate to start sketching. I would recommend this book for anyone who needs a little inspiration and help to get started with a sketchbook.

Short but Inspirational

I always liked to sketch but didn't know how to express myself with those sketches. In this book you can find different ideas, methods, and material suggestions from various artists about their own sketch journals. Aside from all these there are also very useful advices that made me start a sketch journal and appreciate my art more. It has a nice language which is easy to understand, and as a foreigner I suggested this to my friend who is also into sketching.

Nice little (format) book! A lot of good tips from different artists, with different backgrounds (architecte, cartoonist, student, well-established professional...).Too bad it doesn't exist in digital format though...
