The “dark arts” is an exploration of images mainly associated with mortality – concerning issues most people prefer to leave hidden in the shadows; in the ground.

However, if you were to look deeper, there is often a peaceful mindfulness to be found, as the artist seeks out what is not only hidden in the earth, but also hidden in the mind. If you venture out of your comfort zone to appreciate the images by the fantastic artists in this book, you can see what lies beneath, making it possible to grow closer to the truth of us all.

3D Total Publishing truly has an impressive book collection. I didn't know one could get love bombed by books but it really happened to me, cross my heart and hope to die!

Their collections have outstanding quality, not only in reference to content, layout and design but also in the physical quality of the books themselves.

I find their content to be spot on and relevant to art today, as a multi layered medium that ties together hands on craftsmanship with the complexity of high level digital artistry. The books are rich in the “know how” and give a pallet of styles from a collection of professional artists.

I was surprised by the level of detail around their products, many books included a complimentary high quality print of the artist work, and some books were autographed by the artist themselves. What a treat!

Their customer service is impeccable and personal. I was really aware that there is a human on the other side, funny how the absence of AI can make a human feel valued.

Beautiful compilation of work!

This book is amazing for finding out more about some of the best contemporary artists that have a love for dark fantasy and the macabre. I bought this as a gift and they adore it! I'm just disappointed that shortly after purchasing this book there was an offer to get 3 prints which I missed out on.

great book

If You like traditional drawings (and monsters but that's not necessary) I highly recommend this album. It is filled with quality pieces from many talented artists. And if You like monsters than it is the must have book.

Hours of Drooling

Quality product with so many good and different artists featured.I have to add that I have a 'fetish' for handdrawn work, so maybe I am not all that objective. The short explanations written by those artists make the sketches even more interesting. Good for hours of diving into the magic world of Dark sketches!

The Best 'Sketching From The Imagination' Yet!

A great collection of dark and macabre art for all to feast their eyes upon. I have a few of the 'From The Imagination' books, and this one just knocks them out of the water! The team at 3D Total have really out done themselves this time around, and I'm really looking forward to seeing what they're going to do for the next one! Also a big thank you to Adam for making sure this copy got to me after the initial purchas went askew with the courier! Super communication and customer service :D
