3dtotal Managing Director Tom Greenway, Studio Manager Simon Morse, and Marketing Manager Nicole Jones popped down to London for the day on Friday 8 September 2023, to join the fun at Playgrounds first event in the UK.
We met up with long-time friend and superstar digital artist Loish, who was running a sketch session at the event.
Patrick O'Keefe gave a super-engaging talk on his critical contribution to the production design of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
And in the session we were all there to witness, Procreate CEO James Cuda revealed the imminent launch of Procreate Dreams, a new animation app for iPad, causing a stir as he announced that it would be available for a one-off payment of $19.99 USD and with resolutions up to 1 million by 1 million pixels!
With an impressive roster of artists and animators, including Izzy Burton and Aaron Blaise, Playgrounds hosted a fantastic and sold-out event, and we were only disappointed not to be able to attend day two!
