At 3dtotal Publishing, we’re all about championing human art and expression. This core value underpins all we have done and will continue to do as a company.
- To create products that support human artists and their creative aspirations
- To ensure all freelance artists confirm within their contracts that they do not use AI in any part of their creative process
- To never knowingly promote or publish art created with the use of generative AI
- Where we deem appropriate, to advocate for human art and speak out against the use of AI in creative processes
- To work with artists who have read and understand this AI policy

While we rely on the honesty and integrity of our artists, we understand that we may occasionally be misled. In cases where we have published art created with, or using, generative AI, we promise to take the following steps:
- Remove the artworks from our online spaces
- Make a note on the relevant product pages to notify customers if the artworks have been published in our books
- Where possible, remove the artworks from printed books at the point of reprinting.
As a global commercial publisher, removing books from circulation after they have been published is not possible. We can only address the removal of AI-generated content at the time of reprint, but to this we are committed.
Artists who may have used AI in the past, but have since developed an understanding of its detrimental impact on the artistic community, copyright, and the environment, may be featured in 3dtotal products, provided they have ceased their use of AI and confirm their alignment with our values and policy.
We are optimistic that the artistic community will collectively decide to reject generative AI, and we hope that all current users will ultimately reach this conclusion.

Thank you so much for making this statement. This company and the team working in it stands for so many good values and fights for great causes. It makes me very happy and proud to be your reader and customer!
Thank you for standing up for human creatives globally.
I agree, and thanks for supporting artists.
THANK YOU FOR THIS!
Technically no one, at this point of technical evolution, can in all honesty “confirm within their contracts that they do not use AI in any part of their creative process”. Every software we use contains AI features to some degree and we don’t even know where AI is implemented in the softwares we use.
