Stunning book!

I have bought a few books by 3D Total and the quality is always welcome. As a Graphic Designer and Illustrator Art books are my passion. When Mythical Beasts arrived I was stunned but the impact this book has. The quality finish and content is remarkable. The outer cover features gold foil and spot varnish, the inner pages are printed on a lovely stock. The illustrations are reproduced at a very high standard and the information provided by the contributors is extremely valuable. Well worth the money and by far one of the nicest books I have purchased of this kind.

Worth purchasing

The book itself is beautifully done - solid construction, breathtaking golden ornaments and enjoyable content. It's a great book for getting inside an artist's mind, as well as just staring at sketches in awe. The cardgame is hard to understand at first, but with friend's help it managable. I am happy with the purchase!!

Definitely has a place in most designer/illustrators/monster-hunter's bookshelf

Lovely book with some well known and some not so well known mythical creatures. Although i enjoyed the break down of each character i would have loved to see more! whether that would be more characters or more development of and on the final designs i'm unsure. Definitely has a place in most designer/drawers/monster hunters bookshelf

If you want to get inspiration, like to draw creatures - you need this book!

This book describes in details all the process of creating creatures from thumbnails to final rendering! You will understand how artists find the main idea, looking for references.

You gotta love these beasts!

This book is overloaded with a lush creatures in a nice sketchy line that is hard not to be inspired by. The are all very well described too. If you like fantasy, adventure and things from another world, this book is a must. It would look good in every bookshelf too. Indeed a very nice publication.
