The book of teachers

The book is massive both literally and figuratively. In the past, readers have admired authors with single books from 3dtotal. The release of this thematic book line helps readers gain a deeper understanding of important and concerning issues.

I have a Doctorate in Colour Chemistry and Colour Technology and have never seen such a clear and complete discussion on colour and light in one brilliantly written book before. The detail and practical techniques described far outweigh anything I have previously encountered. Well done Charlie Pickard.
As an amateur digital/conventional artist who specialises in drawing from the imagination the tips and insights provided have helped me add a touch of reality to my drawings.
The tutorials along with Charlie’s suggested exercises have been really beneficial, as has the delightful gallery of some exceptionally talented artists. I cannot commend this book more highly, and look forward to receiving the next two in the Artist’s Master Series which are currently in flight, being ordered almost immediately after I opened this exceptional volume. Another masterpiece from 3dTotal.

This book is fantastic. It goes into detail of what color and light is. Better than the course I took in college.

Amazing book

It was expensive but very much worth the price! It's pretty much has everything you could ask for. I learned a lot from the first few pages alone, and my skill improved leaps and bounds. It presented a lot of examples from different artists both traditional and digital so you could get a lot of perspective. Do note it may be rather daunting and complicated for an absolute beginner, so if you've got the basics down and really, really wanted to expand your horizons, then this book is a perfect fit for you.

3D Total Publishing truly has an impressive book collection. I didn't know one could get love bombed by books but it really happened to me, cross my heart and hope to die!

Their collections have outstanding quality, not only in reference to content, layout and design but also in the physical quality of the books themselves.

I find their content to be spot on and relevant to art today, as a multi layered medium that ties together hands on craftsmanship with the complexity of high level digital artistry. The books are rich in the “know how” and give a pallet of styles from a collection of professional artists.

I was surprised by the level of detail around their products, many books included a complimentary high quality print of the artist work, and some books were autographed by the artist themselves. What a treat!

Their customer service is impeccable and personal. I was really aware that there is a human on the other side, funny how the absence of AI can make a human feel valued.
